(Hollywood Pictures, 1993) Original poster concept art for the multi-generational family drama The Joy Luck Club by acclaimed artist Michael Hobson, whose original art has also been featured in posters for Disney's Aladdin (1992) and Mulan (1998). Accomplished in watercolor paint on 15 x 21 in. artist's paper leaves. Each vibrant painting depicts an alternate rendition of a pivotal moment in which mother Suyan embraces her daughter June. The artist has signed the blue version of the painting below the image. In fine condition.
