Joan Fontaine "Mrs. de Winter" hat from Hitchcock's Rebecca. (United Artists, 1940) Vintage original wide-brim straw hat with baby blue velvet hat band tied in a bow in back with streamers trailing four feet. Fabric roses applied under brim. Retaining the internal Selznick Int. Pictures bias label handwritten, "Joan Fontaine" and other prod. info. Exhibiting some thin spots in the crown, age, minor wear.
