Jean Harlow vintage wax bust by Katherine Stubergh. A classic sculpture of actress Jean Harlow was created by famed wax figure artiste Madame Katherine Stubergh in the 1930s. Stubergh was a celebrity in her own right, and it was considered an immense honor to be immortalized in wax by her. This figure of Harlow was sculpted by the artist using an actual wax impression cast directly from the actress' face, chest and torso, including her bare breasts. Ms. Harlow sat live with Stubergh in her studio in the creation of this sculpture. This is an unfinished bust with glass eyes, no hair, no hands and unpainted. Full 24 x 15 in. torso is composed of wax. Beautiful even in this state. In fine condition. Special shipping arrangements will apply.
