    James Stewart special award to commemorate the 50-year anniversary of his "Best Actor" Academy Award. (1991) Original special "Oscar" trophy given to James Stewart in recognition of the 50-year period from the time he was awarded his first Oscar for "Best Actor" in 1941 for his role as "Macaulay Conner" in The Philadelphia Story. Consisting of a gold-plated cast metal male figure holding a wreath and standing atop a black painted tiered wooden base. The printed plaque on the front of the base reads, "Golden Anniversary Oscar Presentation, James Stewart, 1941-1991 Springfellow's - Beverly Hills". The trophy measures 12 x 6 in. and remains in fine condition.
