    James Darren "Moondoggie" Signature Screen Worn Shorts and (2) Scripts 1-Gidget and 1-Gidget Goes Hawaiian (Columbia, 1959/1961). Vintage original screen worn Andrade, Waikiki brand white cotton swim shorts with red and blue piped stripes down both outer legs, 1-hip flap pocket with decorative Hawaiian Monarch metal button and a zipper and metal button front closure. The shorts retain an embroidered Hawaiian crest patch affixed to the left pant leg above hem reading "Ua Mau Ke Ea Oka Aina Ika Pono" (Hawaiian for "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness"), (1) studio leather book-bound (gold gilt-stamped "James Darren") 120-page Revised Final Draft script for Gidget, dated "June 11, 1958" including a call sheet, and (1) studio cloth and board book-bound 150-page Revised Final Draft script for Gidget Goes Hawaiian, dated "Oct. 19, 1960" including 20-pages of scheduling paperwork and highlights and hand annotations by Mr. Darren. Scripts exhibit minor age and production handling. Shorts exhibit age and light, even discoloration. In vintage Very Good to Fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from James Darren. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
