An Anton Fig Yamaha Drum Set Used on "The Late Show with David Letterman." CBS Television, 1993-2015. Six piece Yamaha Oak drums with wooden hoops, used by the drummer on the set of the celebrated talk show for the last two years until it famously went off the air just this year on May 20, 2015; Fig's black felt-tip ink signature appears on the inside of all shells and on the top heads; also included are two pairs (one prototype) of drum sticks he signed. (Please note there is no hardware or cymbals included with this lot.)
    22" Bass Drum; 14" Signature Snare; 10",12",14", 16" Toms

    In Anton Fig's own words:

"I have used these drums for the past two years on the show. Dave Letterman asked me to get them because he saw Matt Cameron, drummer with Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, playing a similar set on the show, and they matched my snare drum (a collectors item in itself - one of Yamaha's best selling drums - and no longer available). I have been very happy with them, the bass drum is especially good (and my snare is fantastic). I'm happy to be ending my 29 year run on the show with them. I have signed the inside shells so that they will always be identified as once belonging to me. I hope they find a good and loving home. Also enclosed are two pairs of signed sticks - one prototype used by me on the show and the other new."
