    Howard Hughes signed Caddo Company contract loaning Jean Harlow to MGM for her services in filming The Secret 6, countersigned by Louis B. Mayer. (MGM, 1931) 2-page 8.5 x 11 in. contract, dated November 11, 1930, for "Miss Jean play the part known as 'ingenue lead'". Signed "Howard R. Hughes pres." and countersigned "Louis B. Mayer". Lotted with a Western Union telegram marked "Copy" from Jean Harlow to agent Arthur Landau dated May 21, 1931 advising him to "Accept three week contract for $5,000 with Columbia for Blond Baby watch treatment of Blond Babys [sic] surrender very important that screen be handled with great delicacy regards Jean Harlow".
