(Warner Bros., 1941) The only film for which Howard Hawks received a nomination for best direction from a career which many film historians consider unsurpassed in consistent quality and variety, and one of only two films for which Gary Cooper received the Oscar for best performance. From Howard Hawks' personal archive, the original keybook in personalized gilt-embossed leather (with film title misspelled) containing over (40) silver-bromide custom 7.5" x 9.5" matte prints by Mac Julian, each having come loose from page mounting with little or no damage to verso. Keybook contains an even assortment of portraits and scenes including Gary Cooper, Walter Brennan, and Joan Leslie.Auction Info
