Hero Away Team Medical Kit from Star Trek TNG & films 1330. Hero Starfleet Away Team Medical Kit and original concept design artwork from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Generations and First Contact. (Paramount-TV, 1987-1994; 1994, 1998) Hero illuminated Starfleet Away Team medical kit with hypospray and four hypospray vials and original artwork. The new medical case was designed by Rick Sternback for Season 5 TNG (original pen & ink 8½ in. x 11 in. concept art is included). Trapezoidal design of vacuum formed plastic case with white, grey, gold, green and black detailing. A ratcheting door reveals compartments holding resin/metal Starfleet hypospray and with four external red and green flashing LED lights and bar graph display operated by a switch. Originally used by Dr. Beverly Crusher on away missions, the unit was repainted for the feature films. Measures 13 in. x 9 ½ in. x 3 in. Built by Prop'er Effects.
