Guy Williams "Prof. John Robinson" space suit and helmet from pilot episode of Lost in Space Guy Williams "Prof. John Robinson" space suit and helmet from pilot episode of Lost in Space. (CBS-TV, 1965-1968) Iconic space suit and helmet worn by Guy Williams as "Prof. John Robinson" in the Lost in Space pilot episode, "The Reluctant Stowaway." Williams wears this space suit near the end of the episode during his space walk to repair the NGS scanner. The quilted diamond pattern vest has an integral webbed utility belt with clasps that allow fitment of the vacu-formed oxygen tank on the rear and elastic straps on the sides for fitting to the actor. The fiberglass helmet is padded inside with aluminum components around the collar surrounding the sliding face shield. Mounted on a custom mannequin torso display and base, the suit and helmet measure 32 in. tall x 17 in. wide at the shoulder, 45 in. tall on wooden base.
