DescriptionFrankenstein Unbound Matte Paintings of "Dome Top and Bottom Halves" (TCF, 1989). Matte paintings accomplished in mixed media on 68.25" x 38.5" and 66" x 38". Masonite boards. Painted by Illusion Arts.
These mattes are a set of two that were combined for a VistaVision tilt-down with swirling light effects and an undulating orb with live-action along the upper bridge, at the center, and along the bottom of the frame. High contrast lithographic negatives of clear scribbles on black, moved behind one another, were used to create ethereal glowing effects. Exhibiting expected production wear, minor scuffing, and soiling. This lot requires third party shipping from Los Angeles, CA. COA from Heritage Auctions.
