    Frank Gorshin "The Riddler" costume from Batman. (ABC TV, 1966-1968) Vintage original (2) piece plaid wool suit in colorful comic-book palette of green, pink and baby blue stripes with large hot-pink fabric buttons in front. Worn by Frank Gorshin, in the role of the "Riddler," in the second Batman episode, "Smack in the Middle". Tailored jacket label with gaudy flower print lining and retaining internal bias label handwritten, "Frank Gorshiner [sic], September 1965". The suit was custom made by Ernie Tarzia and includes a pair of matching blue gloves. An instantly recognizable and iconic wardrobe item from the campy 1960s superhero TV series. In vintage fine condition.
