Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (Lucasfilm, 2019), Adam Driver "Kylo Ren" Bladed Stunt Dueling Lightsaber. Original lightsaber used by Adam Driver in his role as Kylo Ren during the filming of Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. One of the most unique and iconic designs to come out of the Disney-era Star Wars sequel trilogy of films, Kylo Ren's lightsaber featured both a main blade as well as two smaller "crossguard" blades (or quillons), giving it an ancient, medieval appearance. This stunt prop Kylo Ren lightsaber is constructed of cast rubber with fitted polycarbonate tubes to represent the main blade and smaller crossguard blades for stunt and dueling use. Non-lighted FX stunt examples such as this piece were specifically showcased during the duel between Kylo Ren and Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the watery ruins of the destroyed Death Star. This is the first example of any type of stunt dueling prop Kylo Ren lightsaber from any film to be offered at auction. Measures approx. 26" x 11" x 2". Handle measures 11" x 2". Exhibits deliberate studio distress, light production wear and fading to the handle.
