(NBC-TV, 1964-1970) Fess Parker's portrayal of Daniel Boone began filming in 1964 and over its six years on the air, became one of the highest rated shows of its time. Parker was not only the star of the series, but also the co-producer and director of five of its most popular episodes. The coonskin hat features a quilted fabric lining with leather hatband and Western Costume label handwritten, "Fess Parker". It measures approx. 14 in. long with a 9 in. long tail. An instantly recognizable and iconic wardrobe item from one of the most endearing television portrayals in history.
