(1967) Vintage original illustration accomplished in pencil, ink and red grease pencil on 12 x 18 in. artists' leaf torn from a spiral pad. A humorous preliminary sketch for the Random House book, How to Dress for Success, written by Edith Head with Joe Hyams and published in 1967. Signed in pencil in the lower margin, "Edith Head". With cropping and layout notations throughout borders. Retaining paper flashing from the spiral pad. Exhibiting minor edge wear, typical production handling, and some soiling.
