Ultraseven (Tsuburaya Productions, 1967-1968), Group of (55) Annotated Shooting Scripts. Vintage original group of (55) scripts formerly owned by one of the series' unit directors, Sasaki Kokichi, including revised draft scripts for Episodes 20 and 28, final drafts scripts for Episodes 5, 6, 10, 42, 43, and 44, and unpublished scripts for Episodes titled, "300 Years of Revenge" and "The Scream at the Bottom of the Lake", and "Alien 15 + Monster 35 (Working Title)". Missing are scripts for Episodes 21 and 22, as Sasaki was not involved in the on-location shooting of either. All scripts measure 9.5" x 7" and feature handwritten annotations and script revisions throughout with insight to the production, locations, and effect sequences. The third overall entry in the long-running "Ultra" series, Ultraseven aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System and continued to bring audiences the special-effects laden battles and science fiction storytelling established in the massively popular Ultraman one year prior. Still featured in television, films, and animation to this day, the Ultra series is considered one of the most pivotal special effects series in pop-culture history and one of the progenitors of the Tokusatsu costumed-hero genre. Scripts display production age, handling, and wear including discoloration, page tears, light water damage, and scuffed edges and covers. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
