Tucker: The Man and His Dream (Paramount, 1988), Screenplay Drafts and Production Archive. Original archive from the production of the George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola collaboration, Tucker: The Man and His Dream, including handwritten cast lists, printed cast and crew lists, budget sheets, handwritten screen credits, correspondence, (1) 110-page (as paginated) transcription titled "Notes From Meeting Re "Tucker" Script July 16", bradded and dated July 16, 1986, (1) booklet of 47-printed photographs taken by Jeff Bridges behind the scenes, (3) 5" x 3.5" production stills from set, (2) 7" x 4.75" production stills from set, (3) 6" x 4.5" production stills from set, (12) 8" x 10" production stills from set, and additional documents relating to production. Also accompanying the lot are (4) scripts in different stages of production, including (1) 41-page (as paginated) rough first draft bradded to black studio wrap with sticky note reading "Tucker" on the cover with no date present, (2) 120-page (as paginated) blue revised shooting scripts bradded and dated May 5, 1987, with pink and yellow revision pages dated May 23rd, 1987 and June 27th, 1987 respectively, with 1-script retaining handwritten notes to Roos on final page and title on spine reading "Tucker Final", and (1) 127-page (as paginated) shooting script bradded and dated March 9, 1987, retaining original annotations and notes from Roos and title to spine handwritten "Tucker" in red marker. The film is a biographical retelling of Preston Tucker's (Jeff Bridges) rise in the automobile industry in the 1940s and his goal of making the first futuristic car. Items exhibit production age and handling, with edge creases and corner bumps to many production documents and scripts and slight tearing to some production documents. The poster is for reference only and is not included with this lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
