The Towering Inferno (TCF, 1974), Steve McQueen's Personal Hand-Annotated Leather-Bound Shooting Script. Vintage original 168-page (as paginated) fourth revised final shooting script from the production of The Towering Inferno, leather-bound on mimeograph paper and dated May 6, 1974, with rainbow revision pages dated up to July 2, 1974. Previously belonging to marquee icon Steve McQueen and containing his signature in brown ink on the title page along with numerous handwritten annotations in brown marker and pencil throughout, primarily condensed within pages 60-79. Also contains an additional bound paper insert between pages 67 and 68 with handwritten dialogue in blue pen. Presented in a deluxe oxblood-red leather hardcover binding with gold inlaid title and "Steve McQueen" on the cover, dated 1974 on the spine. The Towering Inferno centers on a colossal San Francisco Skyscraper catching fire during its opening night party. Measures 8.5" x 11" x 1.25". Script exhibits signs of age and handling, including creasing to title page, rubbing to leather cover, and leather wear to corners of cover.
