Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount TV, 1966-1969), Writer's Submission First Draft from Episode "Mudd's Women". Vintage original draft of the pitched second pilot for Star Trek that would eventually be rewritten into the Season 1, Episode 6 story of the same name, "Mudd's Women", 69-page (as paginated), bradded on typewritten paper and title page dated May 31st, 1965. Contains yellow revision papers and is bound by pastel blue studio-wrap titled "Mudd's Women" to top right corner in black marker. This original draft was one of three that was submitted for approval for the second pilot of Star Trek after the first pilot, "The Cage", was rejected. This script was not chosen and later rewritten by Gene Roddenberry for the Season 1 episode of the same name, "Mudd's Women", which follows a slightly altered storyline to the original script offered here. Item exhibits expected age and wear with one of three brass brads detached. Inner pages present well overall. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
