Signed Letter from Audie Murphy. 8" x 10" typed letter on Audie Murphy's stationery ("AM Farms, Thoroughbreds, Quarterhorses"), dated April 26, 1961, reads: "Dear Dru: Haven't been able to corral Nudie on the boots yet, but will make a valiant effort the first chance I get. Regards," --- Murphy signs in ink "Audie." Murphy, of course, was the most decorated U.S. soldier in World War II as well as a movie star and country music composer; he also wrote the 1949 book To Hell and Back and starred in the 1955 film version. He died in a plane crash in 1971 at the age of 45. The "Nudie" to whom he refers is Nudie Cohn, famed designer of flamboyant celebrity outfits. Letter is in 10" x 11.5" plastic frame and is in Excellent condition. Requires third party shipping. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
