Memento (Summit Entertainment, 2000) and Batman Begins (Warner Bros., 2005), Pair of Joe Pantoliano Personally-Owned Scripts from Early Christopher Nolan Projects. Original pair of scripts personally owned by renowned character actor Joe Pantoliano from early director Christopher Nolan projects, including (1) Studio-bound and bradded 119-pg. (as paginated) 8" x 11" Memento screenplay with rainbow revision pages and the actor's notes throughout regarding his portrayal of "Teddy," the foil to Guy Pearce's brooding, tattooed detective Leonard. The script contains Pantoliano's handwritten markings indicating dialogue modifications and character motivations, with an additional call sheet laid in, and (1) Studio bound and bradded 135-pg. (as paginated) Batman Begins screenplay with blank white paper wraps and red 11.5" x 8.5" watermarked pages marked "TIG080104JP," with Joe Pantoliano's name written on the upper right corner. Together, these scripts testify to the high esteem Christopher Nolan held for the character actor, nicknamed "Joey Pants," as an early collaborator in his formative films. A must-own pairing for fans of Nolan's career and his early screenwriting work. Scripts exhibit production wear and age, with dog-eared pages and Pantoliano's comments and underlining throughout.
