Including: 110 Hellinger short stories, most annotated, many with tear-sheets from the stories' appearances in print (1931-37), generally in Hellinger's "Broadway Episodes" column in the Sunday Mirror; two sheets with pencil story ideas in Hellinger's hand (1931-32) with titles "The Girl Who Changed", "The Taxi Story", and "Room for Improvement"; a ledger-style scrapbook, filled with 1921 newspaper clippings of stage and screen actors, stories indexed by name (Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle [including his scandal press], the Barrymores, Theda Bara, Charlie Chaplin, D. W. Griffith, Mary Pickford, hundreds of others); another large scrapbook, 13"x 16", filled with torrid news stories clipped from New York newspapers, a typed spine label reads, "Volume No. 17/M.H. Personal Scrap Book 10/13/29 - 5/23/30" in pencil it reads, "Story Ideas News Clips". The clippings and manuscript pages are brittle, else Very Good. From the Mark Hellinger Archive.
