    Description

Marilyn Monroe Group of Very Rare Medium-Sized 'Salesman Sample' Calendar Pages (Circa 1955). From the personal files of Bob Baruck, a salesman who sold the now infamous nude calendars in the San Fernando Valley for a short amount of time in the mid-1950s; comprising four separate color lithographic images with a blank space on the top margin (where the business name would be printed); all with various text printed on left, right, and bottom areas; 1) the first titled "Golden Dreams," 2) the second also the 'Golden Dreams' pose but "With Lace Overprint" and re-titled "Entrancing;" 3) the third titled "Vivacious Marilyn," and 4) the fourth titled simply "Marilyn Monroe;" consigned to this auction directly by Baruck's daughter. (Please note there is a diagonal crease in the lower right corner of "Golden Dreams" and the top margins of both "Vivacious Marilyn" and "Marilyn Monroe" have slight paper loss and show fraying.)
