    Lana Turner Script Collection. The name might immediately evoke real-life sensationalism and seven husbands, but Lana Turner was certainly a very fine actress and a genuine movie star, as this script lot reminds us. Includes a 176-page screenplay for MGM's Green Dolphin Street by Samson Raphaelson, dated July 13, 1945 and stamped "Vault Copy"; 152-page script for Green Dolphin Street by Carey Wilson, dated March 27, 1946 and stamped "Vault Copy" and "Temporary Complete"; 181-page revised final script for 20th Century-Fox's Peyton Place (for which Lana won an Academy Best Actress nomination), dated April 1, 1957; 166-page shooting final script for Peyton Place, dated April 22, 1957; continuity and dialogue script for Universal-International's The Lady Takes a Flyer, in which Lana co-starred with Jeff Chandler; 175-page script for the never-produced Lana: The Lady, The Legend, The Truth, produced by Warner Bros. Television and dated February 29, 1984; and a 190-page fourth draft script for the never-produced biopic Lana: The Lady, The Legend, The Truth, dated June 20, 1985. Scripts are in Very Good to Excellent condition.
