Description

Lana Turner Script Collection. The name might immediately evoke real-life sensationalism and seven husbands, but Lana Turner was certainly a very fine actress and a genuine movie star, as this script lot reminds us. Includes a 176-page screenplay for MGM's Green Dolphin Street by Samson Raphaelson, dated July 13, 1945 and stamped "Vault Copy"; 152-page script for Green Dolphin Street by Carey Wilson, dated March 27, 1946 and stamped "Vault Copy" and "Temporary Complete"; 181-page revised final script for 20th Century-Fox's Peyton Place (for which Lana won an Academy Best Actress nomination), dated April 1, 1957; 166-page shooting final script for Peyton Place, dated April 22, 1957; continuity and dialogue script for Universal-International's The Lady Takes a Flyer, in which Lana co-starred with Jeff Chandler; 175-page script for the never-produced Lana: The Lady, The Legend, The Truth, produced by Warner Bros. Television and dated February 29, 1984; and a 190-page fourth draft script for the never-produced biopic Lana: The Lady, The Legend, The Truth, dated June 20, 1985. Scripts are in Very Good to Excellent condition.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
