Gremlins (Warner Bros., 1984), Production Storyboard Binder. Original production storyboard binder used by director of photography John Hora during preproduction and filming of Gremlins, dated March 16, 1983 on the fly page and containing upwards of 350-detailed storyboards on photostat paper. Pages depict detailed sequencing for the film beginning with Scene 48. Binder also contains several 35mm test slides corresponding to specific scenes along with cinematography notes for how to shoot specific scenes. Storyboards are housed in a standard black 3-ring binder with custom Gremlins sticker on the front and white and red applied transfer letters reading, "JOHN HORA / DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY". Measures 11.75" x 11.5" x 3.5". Binder and contents exhibit signs of production use, wear, and age, including foxing and bumped corners to storyboard pages, scuffs and stains to binder exterior, clipped and bumped edges to the Gremlins sticker, and several missing transfer letters. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
