Governor Ronald Reagan Signed AFTRA Contract to Appear on The Sonny and Cher Show (CBS TV, 1972) with Endorsed Check. Vintage original "Standard AFTRA Engagement Contract" signed by, then Governor Ronald Reagan for a rehearsal and appearance on The Sonny and Cher Show, September 5, 1972. The 12" x 8.5" document is accompanied by an endorsed, later issued residual check from Paul Brownstein Productions, Inc., dated 10/23/96, a photostat image of the remittance statement, and a photo print of Reagan with Sonny and Cher. The contract is made between "Governor Ronald Reagan" and "Yosh Productions, Inc.", both c/o William Morris Agency, Inc. Both contract and check are signed "Ronald Reagan". Items exhibit age and handling wear, including some mounting tape remnants. The contract exhibits toning and overlapped double holes punched at the top margin.
