Darryl F. Zanuck Story Treatment for Noah's Ark (1928). A 32-page story treatment for the early sound picture that told the Biblical story parallel to one of soldiers on the battlefield in World War I. Directed by Michael Curtiz, the movie has become a symbol of the transition from silent movies to talkies (it was actually a part-talkie, utilizing then-new Vitaphone sound-on-disc technology), and is also remembered for the controversial filming of the flood sequence that resulted in the drowning deaths of three extras and severe injuries to more than a dozen others. The treatment is in Fine condition with mild toning, some wear, a few instances of fold creases, and mild toning, with some moderate wear, toning, and edge tears to the cover.
