Collection of Sofia Coppola Draft Screenplays, Casting Notes, Clapperboard, Crew Gift and Other Materials (ca. 1990s-2013). Original collection of materials relating to the production of Sofia Coppola projects including The Virgin Suicides (Zoetrope, 1999), Marie Antoinette (Zoetrope, 2006), and The Bling Ring (Zoetrope, 2013). Virgin Suicides includes (2) draft screenplays with (1) 98-page (as paginated) early draft from early 1990s bradded to American Zoetrope gray wraps and (1) 109-page (as paginated), White Shooting Script draft dated June 10, 1998, along with handwritten and typed preliminary cast lists, character breakdowns, and premiere and press kit materials from original release. Materials for Marie Antoinette include (1) 89-page (as paginated) draft screenplay with hot pink wraps, (1) 7-page color printed lookbook for mood and style, and (1) 8.5" x 5" snow globe featuring the title of the film printed to base on brass-colored placard with ornate Greek-themed body and decadent multi-tiered "cake" inside the globe, likely offered as a crew gift following production. Materials for The Bling Ring include (1) 11" x 9.5" clapperboard from production printed with a pink Louis Vuitton monogram design overlay and green accents, (2) screenplays from different stages of production, including (1) a 91-page (as paginated) Shooting Script draft dated with blue revision pages dated March 16, 2012 and spiral bound with pink Louis Vuitton print notebook and (1) 84-page (as paginated) draft retaining original handwritten notes to final page. Also included with this lot are (2) 6" x 4" color photographs from the Golden Globe awards following Coppola's win for Lost in Translation (Zoetrope, 2003) featuring 1-with the director and her father Francis Ford Coppola and producer Fred Roos, and 1-with Roos and actor Nicolas Cage, and (1) 8-page color lookbook for her film Somewhere (Focus, 2013) on custom-made 7.25" x 9.5" yellow wraps.
