    Chinese Gung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self-Defense by Bruce Lee, First Edition, 1963, From the Collection of Bob Baker. Vintage original soft cover martial arts instructional book, with a forward written by Bruce Lee's martial arts master, James Yimm Lee, who helped Bruce publish the book. The book expresses Lee's martial arts philosophy of his early style of gung fu, which was before he developed his unique style of martial arts called Jeet Kune Do in the late 1960s.

    The book is illustrated with black and white photographic images of Bruce Lee practicing his technique and accompanied with drawn diagrams. Exhibits age, handling and some water staining. Signed "R. Baker" on the blank end leaf. Originally the property of Bruce Lee's student, friend, and confidante Robert "Bob" Baker. COA from Heritage Auctions.
