This lot of materials owned by prolific screenwriter-producer Charles Brackett (Oscar winner for The Lost Weekend, Sunset Boulevard, and Titanic) includes: Equitable Investment Corporation file containing ATT stock certificates in the name of Mrs. Lillian Fletcher Brackett, 1969-1974, photocopies and carbons, correspondence; receipt, October 20, 1959, signed by Charles Brackett; certified copy of Charles Brackett death certificate, March 17, 1969; Edgar T. Brackett original land deed, Saratoga County, NY, June 17, 1919; Power of Attorney notarized document signed by Lillian Fletcher Brackett, July 10, 1972; and a "Valuable Papers" folder containing Edgar T. Brackett and M. Emma Corliss' marriage certificate, November 22, 1882, with original envelope; two TLS from Director of Consular Service, Department of State, Washington, to Senator Edgar T. Brackett, October 26, 1917, and November 6, 1917, one page each, State Dept. letterhead; Department of State certificate, 17" x 14", with official seal, appointing "Charles W. Brackett Vice Consul of the United States of America at Nantes, France," January 2, 1918, signed by Robert Lansing; Commercial Travelers Mutual Accident Association of America, Utica, New York, Charles W. Brackett insurance policy and identification card, April 23, 1924. Overall Fine condition with minor wear and age toning.
