This extensive lot from Billy Wilder's classic 1958 Paramount courtroom drama starring Charles Laughton, Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich, and Elsa Lanchester includes: a copy of the screenplay by Wilder and Harry Kurnitz, April 18, 1957, 141 pages, blue construction-paper covers with one metal clip; Final Script by Wilder and Kurnitz, June 10, 1957, 143 pages, red construction-paper covers with two metal clips; copies of script drafts by Wilder and Kurnitz, multiple pages; Charles Laughton essay, "A Great Craftsman," tribute to Billy Wilder and Witness for the Prosecution, three pages; Witness for the Prosecution play program; newspaper and magazine reviews; cast sheets, call sheets, shooting schedule, multiple pages; German scrapbook, Zeugin der Anklage, including publicity, b&w photos, and reviews; and Oscar brochure, "Schedule of Academy Membership Screenings of the Nominations for the 30th Annual Academy Awards for Achievements during 1957."
