Description

Billy Wilder Some Like It Hot Original Script with Annotations, 8.5" x 11", 156 pages, green paper covers with two metal clips. This rare, original screenplay by Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond for the 1959 comic masterpiece starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, and Tony Curtis includes extensive pencil annotations (in an unidentified hand) throughout. The final page ends with the famous line "Well -- nobody's perfect" and goes on to read: "Jerry looks at Osgood, who is grinning from ear to ear, claps his hand to his forehead. How is he going to get himself out of this? But that's another story -- and we're not quite sure the public is ready for it." In Very Good condition with some wear, toning, moisture staining, small tears, and creases. From the Billy Wilder Archive.
