    Billy Wilder Scrapbook from 1959 Vienna Tour. This lot from Billy Wilder's 1959 trip to Austria includes newspaper and magazine clippings (in German) and b&w still photographs featuring the director and the stars of Some Like It Hot, Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, and Tony Curtis. The publications include Neues Osterreich, Die Presse, Illustrierte Kronen Beitung, Wochen-Presse, and Osterreichische Film und Kino Zeitung. The photos and clippings are housed in clear vinyl page-protector sleeves stored in a two-ring binder. A rare personal memento of one of world cinema's great directors. The clippings and photos are in Fine condition; the binder is Very Good with wear and age toning. From the Billy Wilder Archive.
