Back Door to Hell (TCF, 1964), Custom-Bound Script with Associated Production Materials. Vintage original 89-page script (as paginated) printed on carbon paper for the 1964 war drama Back Door to Hell, custom bound in green leather cover with movie title in gold lettering and "Fred Roos" in the bottom right corner measuring 8.5" x 11" x 1.5". This early production script contains handwritten notations and revisions throughout, offering insight into the film's development process for one of Jack Nicholson's earliest acting roles. Also includes (1) screen story treatment written by Richard Guttman, printed on 8.5" x 11" carbon paper with extensive corrections and handwritten notations, and (1) a two-page document on carbon paper entitled "Suggested Screen Titles," outlining the size and order of the final title crawl and featuring Jack Nicholson's name. The materials exhibit typical production wear and age, including edge wear, handling marks, and discoloration to the carbon pages.
