Description

An S.C. Chapman Collection of Ephemera, 1930s-1940s. A large archive of personal and professional materials from the files of this early sound director (who was also known as "Shelby" Chapman) who worked at Paramount Studios starting in the 1920s including: original print black and white film stills (about 25), professional documents, personal paperwork, letters, snapshots, telegrams, and other items he deemed important enough to save; overall a fascinating collection relating to the earliest days of Hollywood.
