    Description

A Set of Photostat Storyboards from "Gwangi." From the files of art director John DeCuir who may have worked on this film at an early stage, housed in a light blue folder with typed text reading "Gwangi / (O'Brien Sketches)," twenty-three pages, each with nine black and white images of scenes from the film that was later made into the 1969 Warner Bros./Seven Arts cult classic, "The Valley of the Gwangi" which featured stop-action special effects by Ray Harryhausen, these particular storyboards (which are Photostats and not the original drawings) were created by Willis H. O'Brien who was working on an earlier version of this movie that was never made, but his images are still great -- showing the poor dinosaur getting used and abused by man then finally acting out!
