A Script from "The Black Castle." Universal International, 1952. With peach-colored covers, screenplay by Jerry Sackheim, with a tipped-in card taped to the inside cover with a handwritten note in blue fountain pen ink reading "Jerry Sackheim" (even though a penciled annotation on the front cover reads "Mr. Karloff"), dated "February 29, 1952," marked "Final Shooting Script," 108 pages, housed within a hardcover black leather binder; also included within binder is a wig (possibly worn by Karloff as he portrayed "Dr. Meissen"), a number of newspaper clippings glued to separate pages that relate to the movie, plus one piece of Universal Pictures Corporation letterhead with Karloff's black fountain pen ink annotation reading "Boris Karloff / CR 63629 / 1448 No. Arnaz Dr.;" this script evidently belonging to the screenwriter Sackheim, but likely looked at or used by Karloff as well.
