A Rudolph Valentino Funeral Card, 1926. A small card with printed text reading in part "Solemn High Funeral Mass / for Rudolph Valentino / ...Monday August 30th 1926 at 11 A.M." which took place at St. Malachy's Catholic Church in New York City, an event which justifiably caused major traffic jams and mass hysteria for days; also included is a typed letter from a "Florence" dated "September 2nd 1926" which makes reference to Valentino's funeral and how "Wallie had charge of the door (at the church)" and how this was the card "they had to have to get in." (Please note the funeral card has not been examined out of its frame.)
