A Mike Evans ["Lionel Jefferson"] Group of Personally-Owned Scripts from "The Jeffersons." CBS Television, 1975-1985. All from Evans' own collection, the young actor who first portrayed "Lionel Jefferson" [son of "George" and "Louise"] on the groundbreaking hit CBS TV series, "All in the Family" from 1971 to 1979 and then continued on with the same role in the popular spin-off, "The Jeffersons;" twelve scripts total, none with covers (just various-colored title pages bound together with oversized paperclips), written by various screenwriters, ranging in date from 1974 to 1985, mostly marked either "First Draft" or "Final Draft," most about 40 pages, some with the actor's penciled annotations throughout, including the episodes titled (in alphabetical order): As Florence Turns, Lionel and George's Brush with the Law, Lionel Cries Uncle (2 copies), Lionel Gets a Chauffeur's Job, Lionel the Playboy (2 copies), Louise Feels Useless, Marathon Men, Meet the Press, Mr. Piano Man, and The Truth Hurts; overall, a nice collection from a cast member who worked on this socially important and really funny series that had a great theme song to boot! (Please note some scripts are in heavily-used and worn condition.)
