    A Mike Evans ["Lionel Jefferson"] Group of Personally-Owned Scripts from "All in the Family." CBS Television, 1971-1979. All from Evans' own collection, the young actor who portrayed "Lionel Jefferson" [son of "George" and "Louise"] and then continued on with the same role in the popular spin-off, "The Jeffersons" which ran on the same network from 1975 to 1985; approximately 50 scripts, some with covers (mostly goldenrod or blue and some with penciled doodles or penned notes) and others with none (just various-colored title pages bound together with oversized paperclips), written by various screenwriters, ranging in date from 1971 to 1979, mostly marked either "First Draft" or "Final Draft," most about 40 pages, some with the actor's penciled annotations throughout, including the episodes titled (in alphabetical order): Archie and the Editorial (2 copies), Archie and the FBI, Archie Goes Too Far, Archie in the Hospital (2 copies), Archie in the Lock-Up, Archie Meets Mike For the First Time, Archie Sees a Mugging, Archie Strikes, The Blockbuster, Cousin Maude's Visit, Election Show, Flashback - Mike & Gloria's Wedding (Part II) (2 copies), Flashback - Mike Meets Archie, George and Archie Make a Deal, Gloria Poses in the Nude, Gloria The Victim (3 copies), Henry's Farewell (2 copies), The Insurance is Cancelled, The Jeffersons Move Up (2 copies), The Last to Know, Lionel Steps Out (2 copies), The Man in the Street (2 copies), Mike's Appendix, Mike's Problems, The Saga of Cousin Oscar, Sammy's Visit (2 copies) [when Sammy Davis, Jr. was a guest star], and Second Honeymoon; also included are scripts from the first season simply titled "Episode" and then their number including: Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 (2 copies), Episode 5 (3 copies), Episode 6, Episode 7, Episode 8 (3 copies), Episode 9, Episode 10, and Episode 13; further included is a manilla folder labeled "All in the Family" filled with looseleaf script pages, correspondence, cast and crew address pages, memos, and a few other documents related to the show; overall, this is a comprehensive collection from one of the actors who worked on this now-historic sitcom. (Please note some scripts are in heavily-used and worn condition.)
