A Marlene Dietrich Handwritten Letter to Jean Howard, Circa 1940s. On plain white stationery, penned in blue fountain pen ink, dated "Tuesday," reading in part "Dear Jean - / I have / to show Hollywood to my friends / all in two days and two nights / ...but / please forgive me if I can't make it. / I hope I don't upset your / table too much. / All love / Marlene;" sent by Dietrich to Howard who was the 1930s-era actress turned photographer married to lawyer, agent, and producer Charles K. Feldman -- a Hollywood power couple who entertained frequently during their 1934 to 1948 marriage; directly from Howard's own files as consigned to this auction by her grand-niece. (Please note original fold marks still evident.)
