    A Marilyn Monroe-Received Group of Correspondence, 1958-1962. Three total including: 1) a letter typed on "Some Like It Hot" letterhead, dated "Dec. 17, 1958," reading in part "Dear Marilyn, / I was terribly saddened to read that you / had lost your baby. I remember our chat / about children and know how extremely / disappointed you must be," signed in the lower right corner "Jack" [Hirshberg]; 2) a letter typed on American Airlines letterhead, dated "August 1, 1960," reading in part "Dear Miss Monroe: / The file about your lost bag has been received," included with a form MM was supposed to fill out and a SASE; and 3) two typed file copies of letters sent to Mexican businesses by Cherie Redmond [MM's Los Angeles secretary], both dated "July 27, 1962," outlining issues about damaged and missing furniture MM had ordered; also included is an attached typed memo from Redmond to Eunice Murray [MM's housekeeper] about the same topic; more insight into the star's life on a minutiae level.
