    A Marilyn Monroe-Received Group of Correspondence, 1958-1962.
    Five total including: 1) a letter to MM from Jean Negulesco, dated "July 14, 1958," typed on personalized notepaper, regarding a project the director wanted to make with MM based on a sexy novel called "The Midwife of Pont Clary," ending with "Good luck on your picture, and it was wonder- / ful to see and dance with you. / My love," signed in black fountain pen ink "Jean;" 2) a typed document of a telegram MM dictated to her business manager [Inez Melson], dated "June 10, 1959," reading in part "Dear Inez, / After thinking it over perhaps Clyde should / stay at your sister's and then when we get an aviary we / could take him..." [Clyde being a pet parakeet]; 3) a letter from William Inge [playwright of "Bus Stop"], dated "April 6, 1959," typed on personalized notepaper, reading in part "I recently saw Some Like / It Hot, and wanted to tell you that you have / my vote for America's Sweetheart," signed in black fountain pen ink "Bill Inge;" 4) a 'Confirmation Copy' of a telegram MM sent to Roberto Boss in Mexico, dated "June 18, 1962," reading in part "Have you any information about wardrobe. Gracias. Marilyn Monroe" (evidently her clothing had been lost on a trip down south) and 5) a typed version of the same telegram from #4; overall, interesting tidbits relating to the star's private life.
