DescriptionA 'Marilyn Monroe Pin-Ups' Rare Magazine, 1953. Published by the Maco Magazine Corporation to cash in on the star's white hot streak of popularity in 1953, featuring 15 pages of unusual color and black and white cheesecake images of Marilyn, many of which have never been seen elsewhere, each page displays text about her, though some of it is wrong ("1929" as the year of her birth, "5'4" as her height, "she doesn't drink," etc.), with a store's stamp on the back cover. (Please note there is wrinkling and staining due to age but the inside images are still in decent condition.)
11" x 8 1/2"
There were two different versions of this magazine released in 1953 because the first (which this one is) displayed an image of MM deemed too risqué as she was sans brassiere! The later versions removed the "offensive" photo.
