Description

A Lon Chaney-Related Script from the Lost Silent Film "London After Midnight." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1927, light blue covers, original title reads "The Hypnotist," story by Tod Browning, scenario by Waldemar Young, dated "July 12, 1927," marked "Vault Copy" and "First Temporary Complete," 76 pages with an additional six-page synopsis inserted in the back, with red typed text throughout noting how the title cards would read as it was a silent film. (Please note the covers are in very tattered condition with evident Scotch tape residue.)

This silent era classic starring Lon Chaney and written and directed by the infamous Tod Browning sadly is on AFI's "Lost Films" list.
