    Description

A Katharine Hepburn Collection of Never-Before-Seen Black and White Personal Snapshots, Circa 1930s-1950s. Approximately 20, all original prints with a glossy finish, depicting the star either alone or with others as she's on vacation, at picnics, or on the set of films (with one signed by the star in blue ballpoint ink), none have ever before been seen as they're from the private collection of Emily Perkins, a bit actress, Hollywood seamstress, and longtime companion to Hepburn; also included is a photo album filled with other black and white snapshots of Perkins and her family, a manila envelope addressed in black felt-tip ink in Hepburn's hand to Perkins, a group of programs/playbills from Hepburn's stage shows including "Jane Eyre" (1937), "Coco" (1969), and "A Matter of Gravity" (1975) which is signed by Hepburn in black felt-tip ink on the cover, and a playbill from "The Late Christopher Bean" (circa 1947) signed in black fountain pen ink on the cover by Zasu Pitts -- overall, a unique little collection of items related to Ms. Hepburn that her close friend saved over the decades; consigned directly by Perkins' grandniece.
