A Karen Black Script and Black and White Contact Sheets from "The Day of the Locust." Paramount, 1975, no covers, screenplay by Waldo Salt from the Novel by Nathanael West, various dates in 1973, over 118 pages, numerous colored script change pages throughout, ownership signature in pencil on the title page; together with a number of call sheets from the production and approximately 50 contact sheets showing scenes from the film with actors such as Donald Sutherland, Burgess Meredith, and Natalie Schafer (but none of Black); interestingly, Black was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for 'Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama' though sadly she lost out to Louise Fletcher for the United Artists film, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest;" consigned directly from The Estate of Karen Black. (Please note most of the script pages are now loose or folded into the rest.)
