A Frank Sinatra-Related Phone Message, 1963. On a half-sheet of paper, typed, dated "1-28-63," to a "Tom" at Variety magazine, reading in part "Frank Sinatra called from his usual rage / to threaten, 'I'll put you in the hospital.../...He was mad about the fact we / printed he and Lawford gave each other the freeze at the Friars.../ So, if we are in the / hospital -- call Mickey Rudin...;" interestingly, Mickey Rudin was also Marilyn Monroe's lawyer; included with its original envelope with the Variety magazine logo -- a funny message, furthering the legend of Ol' Blue Eyes; message taken by Army Archerd when he answered the phone; originally from the Army Archerd archives.
