A file copy, four pages (yellow carbon copies), typed, dated "10/7/50," to writer Ben Hecht, though about the 1950 British Lion Film Corporation film starring DOS's wife [Jennifer Jones], the producer references his most famous film when he notes "...I think there are a great many pictures / that are helped greatly by a foreword.../ An outstand- / ing example of this was your brilliant and widely quoted foreword for Gone / With The Wind."11" x 8 1/2"
