    A 'Breakdown of Novel and Synopsis' Script from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Light blue covers, by Franclien Macconnell, with a 'Selznick International Pictures, Inc.' title page, dated "November 28, 1936" (two years before filming started), marked "Breakdown of Novel and Synopsis," 75 pages, first part is an 18 page chapter-by-chapter breakdown, second part is a 57 page synopsis of entire novel; evidently requested by producer David O. Selznick so he could start on the arduous task of getting the screenplay written -- one that ended up winning a 'Best Writing, Screenplay' Academy Award for Sidney Howard.
